Remember those heart-shaped cookie cutters I used in a past blog post to make the panty cookies?
Well, how about we use them again for some yummy sandwiches to add to our bridal shower food menu?!
I likely shouldn't be writing this post on a empty stomach, but let's talk food!
I am planning an outdoor garden party, so these cute tea sandwiches I found are perfect. Just cut them out with that heart-shaped cookie cutter, or maybe a flower shape, and there you go...easy elegance.
All of the food items I chose for my bridal shower food menu can either be made ahead or will be super easy to make the day of the shower.
After all, I am sure there will be lots on the to-do list the morning of the event. You don't really want to be worrying about baking quiche or some other complex concoction minutes before the party. I would much rather spend time with guests or focus on the fun stuff - like stuffing your Original Panty Pinata!
Who doesn't love food on a stick? Ok, maybe we should be more classy and say kabob or skewer!
Love these super easy caprese kabobs made with fresh mozzarella, basil leaf and a little nugget of cherry tomato. Before your bridal shower guests dive into the cupcake bar, these fresh fruit skewers would be refreshing on a hot summer day.
And you can't go wrong by adding a fresh, summer pasta salad to your bridal shower food menu! Just maybe find a recipe with a different dressing if keeping something with mayonnaise cold is an issue.
What is on your bridal shower food menu?
